Ash is passionate about developing and empowering young professionals to emerge as successful consultants in their technical field. She is dedicated to the development and growth of graduates in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) careers, and particularly passionate about integrating Beca’s diversity and inclusion philosophy and principals. She is hugely passionate about learning and developing a deeper understanding of engaging and working with Māori & Pacifica building cultural competency within the business along with supporting rangatahi across Aotearoa emerging into the industry.

Ash is involved in a range of STEM initiatives including Engineering New Zealand’s Wonder Project, Wonder Week ,The Week of Engineering and partnering with The University of Auckland South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students (SPIES) network. Ash currently leads Beca’s Graduate and Summer Intern Development Programme across Asia Pacific, she joined the NZAGE Committee in July 2018 and the Board in 2023.
