Tim is the Senior Adviser for the Financial Market Authority’s (FMA) Early Careers team. Having completed his degree at Victoria University of Wellington in 2013, he soon relocated to the UK where he began his career in the Talent space. Tim’s experience has predominantly been in government and technology, working at companies such as Visa, Google, Xero and now the FMA.

Tim was first exposed to the early careers space at Visa, where he was involved with the programme: Visa University. This programme aimed to provide valuable opportunities to students who may have pursued non-traditional paths, offering them hands-on experience and pathways to full-time roles. This sparked his enthusiasm for all things early careers, particularly in diverse hiring initiatives aimed at nurturing future leaders.

Tim is passionate about helping ensure people have access to the right opportunities and support to have the best start in their career.
